Abstract. In laboratory conditions after the application of pre-sowing, laser radiation tested sowing value and early phases of four cucumber cultivars. Significant stimulation of germination energy and germination capacity were observed. Three doses were stimulated of roots and first leaf length.

Summary

The material for the investigation were four cucumber cultivars: ‘Delicious’, ‘Hela F₁’, ‘Krak F₁’, ‘Racibor F₁’. In laboratory conditions, in two-factor experiment sowing value and early phases of seedling development were tested, after application of pre-sowing of differented laser doses. Significant stimulation of germination energy and germination capacity were observed. Cucumber cultivars reaction were differentiated (on morphological characters). It was stated that three doses were stimulated of roots and first leaft length.
